The right-of-way acquisition process is expected to begin soon. A right-of-way agent will notify and individually work with each impacted property owner to obtain necessary right-of-way and/or easements. More information is available in the Acquiring Land for Highways and Other Public Projects brochure.
Construction is tentatively scheduled for December 2022 through December 2023.
Two road closures are needed to realign Thompson road. These closures will be coordinated with the Beaverton School District and Tualatin Fire & Rescue. The proposed detour uses West Union Road, Bethany Boulevard, Cornell and Saltzman roads.
